We all understand feminism but what's Meninism? This term was introduced in early 2000. This Meninism term is employed to explain men's rights and equality. But the massive question is, which equality? Equality of cooking food, and equality of washing clothes. I do not think so. As we all know that each coin has two sides. Similarly, we can see Meninism in two ways. Within the right way or within the wrong way. A report said that the hashtag #meninsttwitter was being used on Twitter, first to make fun or joke about Feminism but later share more serious problems facing nowadays men. The medieval period of India was a period of Meninism, where all the powers and rights belonged to men, which cause practices like dowry, Sati, marital rapes. Then women took a stand for their rights, so Feminism is all about equality not being above men. 

Within the early 2000 men starts using the term Meninism to mock feminism. For a few people,  meninism could be a joke which isn't a funny one. But the biggest question is Meninism really necessary? I feel yes, Meninism is important but in the right way, to not criticize Feminism. Meninism was an old movement against women, but the thing is that now Meninism is related to some serious issues affecting men. It's the simplest way to spotlight problems that affect men in 21 century. People made their point of view on Feminism and Meninism. That Feminism makes females strong and Meninism makes males strong. But it's not true the one who supports meninism can even support feminism. It's right that females face many problems in past centuries and also during this century but it does not imply that they accuse men for false dowry or false rape. It's also true that girls suffer over men, but it doesn't suggest that men don't suffer, Meninism may be a movement that starts to create a joke on feminism, but now it's necessary. Nowadays men also are discriminated against in a lot of things. I'm not saying that girls life is simple neither I'm feminism nor Meninism. But there are many problems associated with men also, like:

  • Men rarely get child custody.
  • Men are generally considered wrong once they fight with women.
  • They are expected to pay on dates.
  • They are expected to open car doors.
  • For women working is an option, except for men it's necessary.

All these things affect men's life too. so, Meninism is additionally necessary as we want Feminism. It's not necessary that one supports feminism then he/she can't support Meninism. But the question is why don't we support Humanism? Humanism promotes the concept of equality for everybody, irrespective of race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

Humanism fully supports equality for ladies and also advocates the advantage of ladies that's discriminatory towards men. If we are seeking true equality for everybody we've got to support only Humanism, not Feminism or Meninism.
